Kombucha In A Nutshell
Kombucha is an ancient Chinese tea made from live bacteria and yeast that has been around for more than 2,000 years. Kombucha is created by millions of microorganisms that come together in the form of a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY). Kombucha is made by adding a SCOBY to sweetened tea, as the culture feeds on the sugars during fermentation, producing alcohol and amino acids. At Kombucha Town, we brew all of our kombuchas with organic sugar and organic teas including black, green jasmine, guayusa mint and white teas.
We continue to brew kombucha because we can speak from personal experience as to how we felt after consuming our kombucha...and we felt great! After drinking any of Kombucha Town's delicious flavors, we've noticed increased energy, a heightened alertness, and an overall sense of wellbeing. We attribute it to the combination of caffeine, antioxidants, and good bacteria produced during fermentation.
Drink it because you like it. Drink it because it adds to your healthy, active lifestyle. And just like everything you consume, we recommend adding kombucha to your diet in moderation.
