The Kombucha Town crew has been busy lately serving up our tasty beverage at events throughout the Pacific Northwest, notably Portland, Olympia and Port Townsend. One question we kept hearing over and over: "Is Kombucha Town available in (insert town here)?" We're here to tell you that we can be ANYWHERE you want us to be...but you have to help us get there by requesting our product at your favorite natural foods grocery, restaurant or bar! Read on below for a wrap-up from each event, plus information on how to request us in your city.
Vegan Beer & Food Festival
The Vegan Beer & Food Festival is mirrored on a similar event in Los Angeles, and its first year in Portland was a HUGE hit! Kombucha Town cozied up with several kombucha companies from across the West Coast in the Kombucha Hunter tent, where we handed out FREE 3oz samples. Pair that with a hearty helping of vegan mac & cheese and you're in vegan heaven.
The Kombucha Town Gold Light (ginger) and Blueberry White kombuchas were a huge hit. Our marketing director's other favorite flavors included Coffee-boocha from SOMA, Black Currant kombucha from Cleary Kombucha and Coconut Lime kombucha from Humm Kombucha.
When is Kombucha Town coming to Portland? SOON, with your help. If you loved our booch, please ask for us at your favorite spot in the Rose City! Request us at New Seasons Market by clicking here, at People's Food Co-op by clicking here, and at Whole Foods by clicking here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with other suggestions.
Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival
The Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is an annual festival in Port Townsend, WA, home of the Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building. The event features workshops, boat tours, delicious Port Townsend Brewing Company beer and lots of live music. Situated in between the Cape Cleare Salmon Wagon and mainstage, Kombucha Town couldn't have asked for a better spot to enjoy the festivities.
Where is Kombucha Town sold on the peninsula? We're on the shelves in the Port Townsend Co-op and Aldrich's Market in Port Townsend, and Nash's Country Store and Sunny Farms in Sequim. Request us at the Kitsap Community Co-op in Bremerton by , at the Poulsbo Central Market by clicking here (select "vendor inquiries"), and at Country Aire Natural Foods in Port Angeles by clicking here. Email email@example.com with other suggestions.
Olympia Harbor Days
Despite the rainy weather during much of Olympia Harbor Days, fun was had by the friends and families who attended this free festival in Olympia, WA. Based on the number of people who signed up for our monthly newsletter, the Culture Club, the festival was a smashing indicator of Olympia's love of kombucha.
When is Kombucha Town coming to Olympia? It's our obvious next stop as our distribution footprint marches south. In the meantime, get your Kombucha Town fix in the (somewhat) nearby Tacoma Food Co-op and both locations of Marlene's Natural Food Market & Deli. Request us at the Olympia Food Co-op by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Email email@example.com with other suggestions.
